May 2022 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, Readisten. If you don't mind i have some questions regarding your purpose here. Is the intention of your account to represent a company and develop business interests here on Wikipedia? Kind regards, Zindor (talk) 21:59, 12 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

The reason i ask this is that your username replicates the name of a business and that doesn't meet our requirements. Additionally, the promotional content on your user page is in violation of our policy and will have to be removed. Furthermore, that user page prose implies shared use and there can only be one user per account. This presents several problems that will need addressing.

In answer to your question posted at the archive, Wikipedia is licenced under CC-BY-SA 3.0 and that may be of use to you. Zindor (talk) 22:28, 12 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

As an administrator, I want to let you know that Zindor is correct. Please set up a new account with a new name for one person only. Cullen328 (talk) 22:59, 12 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Yes this account represents a company and it is involved in text to speech audio conversions for reference materials. I will go ahead and create a one account per person. Is it ok to link these some how to the company--or must it be personal and non affiliated. Readisten (talk) 01:30, 13 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for replying. The purpose of accounts is for the sole purpose of constructively editing Wikipedia, so yes, non-affiliated. We're here to build an encyclopedia not to further any other agendas. I welcome you to set up a new account if you would like to join us in that regard. As part of editing, if you wish to improve articles on specific subjects in which you or your company have a vested interest then you should declare that conflict of interest on your userpage and instead suggest improvements rather than making edits yourself.
