File copyright problem with File:Jack Williamson.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Jack Williamson.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 05:14, 23 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of James mcgow edit

A tag has been placed on James mcgow requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.   This is the final warning you are receiving regarding your disruptive edits. You've had a final warning before, but it was some time ago, so rather than block you at once, I am warning you again. Wikipedia is a serious project, not a place for silly games. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing without further notice. This is the final warning that you are receiving regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Harry Love, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --Denniss (talk) 12:05, 18 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:HappyCow.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:HappyCow.jpg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Copyvio image, multiple results in tineye confirmed this - http://www.tineye.com/search/148668e0867c98e2b89702f9597600af3c9a764e --Denniss (talk) 18:03, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on [[Talk:File:HappyCow.jpg|the article's talk page]] explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Denniss (talk) 18:04, 18 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Mind games (genre) edit

The article Mind games (genre) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable neologism per WP:NEO, unreferenced, original research per WP:NOR, no significant coverage online from WP:Reliable sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Top Jim (talk) 08:01, 26 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

November 2010 edit

This is the only warning you will receive. Your recent vandalism will not be tolerated. Although vandalizing articles on occasions that are days or weeks apart from each other sometimes prevents editors from being blocked, your continued vandalism constitutes a long term pattern of abuse. The next time you vandalize a page, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia without further notice. - Burpelson AFB 14:35, 5 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
