Proposed deletion of Quash

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Quash, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -t BMW c- 19:01, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Goldblade

edit

For the record, I have nothing to do with the Goldblade article- I was merely commenting on an AfD below this one and my attention was caught by several "speedy keep" and "snow keep" votes. Your nomination raised two issues- WP:copyvio and WP:notability, though did not elaborate on either. You should exercise due diligence by searching google at the least and possibly GNews and other sources if possible prior to nomianting it. As for the copyvio, if you can prove it, you can use CSD G12 ({{db-copyvio|url=URL of source}}) with the relevant URL to request speedy deletion. You can still do this if you have the address of a website from which this material has been copied but I was unable to find one in a brief scan of google. Further, I would respectfully suggest that you take a quick look at this before you nominate another article. Any questions (deletion is a fiddly business!), do get in touch via my talk page. Kind regards, HJMitchell You rang? 11:35, 14 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of OVH

edit

The article OVH has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Me-123567-Me (talk) 21:17, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

I don't appreciate you tagging this for speedy deletion just because I nominated OVH for deletion. Retribution is against Wikipedia policy. --Me-123567-Me (talk) 22:18, 11 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

this article's deletion was declined by another administrator, and I agree. Saying someone is head of a party in a state or province is at least a claim to notability. DGG ( talk ) 22:26, 11 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Disruptive editing?

edit

I say sir, your message indicating that I am being disruptive with my editing is simply balderdash! Balderdash my good man!

Let me pose a question to you, posingly, and with much posefference: Have you ever spent time sipping a 1956 Sauvingon whilst porting cotton lounge pants and discussing the perils of a flat tax? If not, then please refrain from calling me disruptive!

My edits are nothing short of perfection! [citation needed]
