We have a problem edit

You uploaded the image at Image:RoyalJordanianFalconbox.jpg and claimed it is your own work. I have compelling evidence that it is actually taken from http://militaryairshows.co.uk, including a higher-resolution image from the photographer. This is filed under OTRS ticket #2007112310011698. A false claim of originality is a serious violation of Wikipedia policy and ethics. Accordingly, I have blocked your account. If I have somehow misunderstood the situation, please contact me via email and I will review the situation and unblock you if appropriate.

Request reason:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:HabisMajali.jpg is probably file in question and I maintain photo is original

Decline reason:

I'm not sure which image(s) were problematic, however, maintaining innocence when someone has provided proof of the copyright is an odd tactic to take. Read WP:GAB - you must understand the reasons behind the block, and convince the community it won't recur. Of course, if you have been editing Wikipedia since the block, you'd do well to provide proof of such (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 08:50, 11 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello Raraa! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 1 of the articles that you created is currently tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 941 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Fayez al-Tarawneh - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Request reason:

This is an old block when I didn't understand the copyright policy. I have since learned better

Decline reason:

You will need to demonstrate that you now understand the copyright policy, by explaining it in your own words in a new unblock request. I am declining this one. 331dot (talk) 14:52, 16 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Since the issue is years old, I am relying on memory which doesn't fair well for such durations. I assume I used an image of General Habis Almajali that I didn't have the right to use and the image was not under a policy that would allow Wikipedia to use it. The right thing would have been to check if the image copyright allows its use and if not then not use the image or check if the owner will release it under one of the licenses that would allow Wikipedia to use it. The fact that I had uploaded the image from my computer doesn't mean that I had owned it's copyright.

Decline reason:

This does not follow the instructions 331dot gave you. It's also not the source of the problem here, though admittedly it would be all but impossible for you to remember that far back. I've replaced the warning showing the problem. If you wish to be unblocked, which I do believe is a possibility here, you'll need to explain our policies on copyright and fair use in your own words. Be careful there; copying and pasting from our policies would itself be a copyright violation. Yamla (talk) 11:52, 17 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Block evasion edit

This user has engaged in block evasion in November 2019 and April 2020, as Radiradicom, and has continued uploading images and claiming them as his own. --Yamla (talk) 10:56, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I don't Know how to talk to you. It is me, I am the same person, My picture is mine and I own it. The picture of Capt. Taghreed was given to me by my employer Royal Jordanian to picture, the same image was accessible to Alia Altwal who took it to give to the 99ers.

Please note that these are the only two images that I uploaded. as far as I can see. I tried to explain before that a block from 2007 (13 years ago) is very difficult to recall. Yes, I understand that the image was not mine. I can't recall posting it. Assuming that I did, I am certain that I understand the policies now

A picture that I took is acceptable, a picture that I took from somewhere is not. An edited picture is not. I am not evading blocks, I am just trying to contribute to the topics that I know about. Can you look at the stubs I have created, though I know all the material first hand, I tried to only put stuff in there that is referenced because of the rules. I am trying to stick to the rules

I will refrain from posting any image what-so-ever, for the time being. I will delete that two pictures I posted, I will ask Alia of Arabian 99s to post it as she has it on the internet before me on https://www.arabian99s.com/.

raraa 11:11, 9 April 2020 (UTC)

"I am not evading blocks" "It is me, I am the same person" (Radiradicom) these statements cannot both be true. Either both accounts belong to the same person, in which case you were evading a block, or they don't. Clearly they do. Also, I say again. You used your other account to upload an image for which you did not own copyright and falsely claimed you did. It's hard to see how we can ever unblock you, given you evaded your block to continue violating copyright. --Yamla (talk) 11:20, 9 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Which image is is that? the image from the new account.
I have explained the whole scenario. I uploaded 2 image, 1 is mine, 1 was taken by me. I can remove them if you think the fact that they are available somewhere else is a proof that I don't own it.
If you don't want to unblock me, that's fine and understandable, just let me know which image is that raraa 11:27, 9 April 2020 (UTC)
