Proposed deletion of "Worcestershire schools sport"

edit

The deletion of an article you created, Worcestershire schools sport, has been proposed for the following reason:

School program with only local notability.

You are welcome to improve the article to meet Wikipedia's quality standards and remove the deletion notice from the article. You may also remove the notice if you disagree with the deletion, though in such cases, further discussion may take place at Articles for deletion, and the article may still be deleted if there is a consensus to do so.

Wikipedia has certain standards for inclusion that all articles must meet. Certain types of article must establish the notability of their subject by asserting its importance or significance. Additionally, since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, content inappropriate for an encyclopedia, or content that would be more suited to somewhere else (such as a directory or social networking website) is not acceptable. See What Wikipedia is not for the relevant policy. You may wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Speedy deletion of Worcestershire schools performance table

edit

A tag has been placed on Worcestershire schools performance table requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. Proposed deletion of Worcestershire schools performance table

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Worcestershire schools performance table, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Statistics table - WP:NOT#STATS

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Heathfield School

edit

The school appears not to be a registered UK education education establishment. Are you able to provide any substantial information on this school, such as for example an Ofsted listing? --Kudpung (talk) 13:03, 22 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Heathfield School, Wolverley

edit

The article Heathfield School, Wolverley has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Possibly lacks notability. Apparently an independent UK school (private). Short stub. No references. Unreliable information about a possible merger with The Bewdley School and Sixth Form Centre a state school, but neither the Bewdley article , nor the Bewdley Ofsted report bear any mention of it. No other information available. This school is not listed by Ofsted. Apart from its own website, and directory listings, there are no substantial results from Google. The school is listed bythe. Independent Schools Council but this is little more than a directory entry; the school has not been inspected or assessed .

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kudpung (talk) 18:51, 24 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
