Welcome!

edit

Hello, Ramakant Dua, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or click here to ask for help here on your talk page and a volunteer will visit you here shortly. Again, welcome! P.S. I see that you are already thinking about adminship. I'm sorry to say that you'll get nowhere right now. After about a year and at least 3,500 good edits, you may be considered as a good candidate. United States Man (talk) 05:49, 22 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Regarding you previous edits on the requests for adminship page...

edit

I would not suggest that you proceed with a self-nomination. You are a relatively new editor and still have very few edits, so I am afraid to say that there is not a chance that you would succeed. You may still help Wikipedia in many other ways for a while, and there are lesser rights such as "reviewer", "rollbacker", etc. that you can obtain with less experience (although I would still wait until you have around 500 edits). in any case, welcome to Wikipedia, and I hope you enjoy being an editor! Also, regarding the welcome by United States Man, that had not yet occurred when I started typing this and was in fact a total coincidence. Dustin (talk) 05:48, 22 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thanks Dustin! And i m proud to be a Wikipedian

So long as you don't quickly leave Wikipedia like so many do, you will gain experience with time. Try to make some good contributions, fix typos, revert vandals, and participate in talk page discussions. In doing so, you will become eligible for new rights such as rollback, reviewer, and others. At the moment, you don't appear to be eligible for those rights, but the standard for acquiring those rights is lower by far than that for gaining adminship. So for now, just try to be a good editor, and I hope that you really help Wikipedia!   Dustin (talk) 06:14, 22 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Editing against consensus

edit

The consensus voted against having a separate article for the Assassination of Theo van Gogh. In spite of that, why do you keep recreating it, TJK? Not only have you indulged in eternal sockpuppetry (when will you ever learn that it is illegal here?), but you are once again violating WP:CONSENSUS by making edits of your own preference against consensus. And that is not how Wikipedia works. Kailash29792 (talk) 15:00, 22 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
