Excessive caption detail

Why do we need three lines of information under a photo in the infobox? Captions are intended to be concise. We certainly don't need the subject's entire name, per WP:SURNAME, we don't need "red carpet" because why is her specific position at the awards necessary? Can't we infer that if she's standing in front of a promo background that she's on the red carpet? We don't need the exact date--a year is fine. Per WP:ABBREV, you'd have to expand NCPA, which would just be ridiculously overcomplicated. "Poorey at the 2013 Sab Ke Anokhe Awards" seems reasonable to me. Feel free to reply here.
