That article was a copyvio of the several website you cited. You cannot just take a paragraph from website 1, a sentence from website 2, etc., and claim that it was not a copyright violation - it was, of both sites. It took me a while to clean up the article, during which time it has been (correctly) speedily deleted. Please note that persistent copyright violators may be blocked from editing. I think I understand why I was blocked. I did not copy or paste anything from a copyrighted document. However the text I wrote may have been interpreted as mimicking copyrighted material. From now on I will paraphrase from any document that might be copyrighted. I would love to have another go at Rachel McKibbens' Wikipedia page and see if that stands up to editor review. I am a volunteer at Copper Canyon Press and have been involved in creating Wiki pages for a number of our poets who don't already have a Wiki page. I need some examples of where I paraphrased copyrighted material. For example in the Rachel McKibbens wiki page that you folks tore down, I am not sure what I did. I fully referenced all internal and external refs that I may have paraphrased. It seems a bit silly to try to get around the copyright issue by simply putting in some different (but less descriptive) words. McKibbens' wiki page is now a hollow shadow of what it was. The same can be said of the Clemens Starck wiki page that I wrote. So, in order to mend my ways I need to see a few clear examples of where I violated copyrighted material. Once I see some concrete examples, I can easily change the way I approach writing wikipedia articles. Thanks for your time. Bob Francis
