Welcome! edit

Hello, PrezNell, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Brianda and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Copyright issues at Concussions in sport edit

Hi PrezNell, I am an administrator on the English Wikipedia. Unfortunately, some of your additions to Concussions in sport have been removed because they were copied from articles such as https://www.ncaa.org/sports/2014/11/5/mind-body-and-sport-post-concussion-syndrome.aspx which are not compatibly licensed. Any information you add to Wikipedia needs to be written in your own words. You may find it helpful to review the Wiki Education module on plagiarism and copyright. Please let me (or your instructor or one of the Wiki Ed coordinators) know if you have any questions. Thanks! DanCherek (talk) 02:51, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Possible plagiarism edit

Hey. I got this message from Wikipedia. Check your work and make sure that it is your own and not plagiarized. Thanks!

Wikipedia's plagiarism detection system picked up an edit from one of the students enrolled in English 102.

PrezNell made this change to the article "Concussions in sport", which Turnitin/iThenticate matched to published text.

These reports are not 100% accurate. For example, a direct quote with proper attribution may trigger a false positive plagiarism report. Please review the student's contributions and the details of the report before taking any action. (If you find that the change — or the entire article — is not accessible, the content may have been deleted for copyright reasons.) NiiaBishop (talk) 20:27, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
