Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Growing Paons 2007.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Growing Pains cover.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Growing Pains cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:59, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Faith Evans, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Thank you. - eo (talk) 14:00, 8 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Iam So Confused

A tag has been placed on Iam So Confused requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Proposed deletion of Swagger pt1

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Swagger pt1, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

You really cannot use the text of an article as your user page. If you want to work on it to further show notability, it can be moved to a subpage of your user space--but even so you cannot keep it indefinitely if it's not going to result in an acceptable article. I am now moving it for you to User:Popride/Daybreak You are of course welcome to crate a new user page to replace the moved one. DGG (talk) 17:43, 28 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your main user page

edit

Hi Popride, could you please give WP:USERPAGE a read? There are some issues with your user page that you can learn more about there. It recommends that you put works in progress into subpages. It also says that you cannot have your user page or works in progress in a category used by Wikipedia articles. I see you've been told some of this before this before, but I'll give you some time to handle it. For now I'll remove the category and tag your page with the userpage template. Speedy deletion nomination of User talk:Flying with fear

edit

Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at User talk:Flying with fear. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
