Sorry, your username is unacceptable and thus you're blocked.

You're welcome to continue contributing to the project, however: you can either a) start over with a new account, which is easier but will mean that you lose all connection with this account, or b) post a request on Wikipedia:Changing usernames to get your name changed (which means you'll first have to post {{unblock}} on this page here.

I apologize for the inconvenience. DS (talk) 21:09, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

This was already discussed here and, as mentioned, no one objected here. :I've been making good contributions. KieferSkunk and Anomie can attest to that. :It was a good run all in all, I don't want another user name. So if this unblock request is denied (there are other users with the word "Pimp" in their name, whom aren't blocked) then at least I went out with no issues, drama, or other bad things, sans this.

Decline reason:

The only person not objecting in those two discussions is you. And as far as usernames go, the controlling factor is not what you meant or didn't mean, it's how it might be perceived by other editors. — Daniel Case (talk) 15:28, 25 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I don't see where anyone objected, but oh well. I just have to be one of the banned "Pimps," instead of one of the unbanned ones. It was a nice stay, back to IP editing.--PimpUigi 16:24, 25 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Yes you did. I objected. No pimps allowed. If there are other users with "pimp" in their name who aren't blocked, please let me know who they are. DS (talk) 18:59, 25 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I was talking about the pages I linked to ; ) - It's all good anyway. Like I said, it was mostly a great experience, thanks for the good times. list of users whose names start with Pimp--PimpUigi 23:15, 25 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, those're mostly being blocked, or already are. DS (talk) 14:20, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Sorry it didn't work out for you. I did mention this was likely to happen. And just to restate it again, i created this account for this user because i do not object to the requested user name, nor did any other person on ANI or ACC so i clicked "by e-mail". There was almost 13 hours for comments to come in regarding the requested user name. Maybe it was because it was Christmas morning that things were slower. Descenting opinions came out of the woodwork afterwards. delirious & lost~hugs~ 04:28, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
