Welcome to Wikipedia, Pil56! My name is Ryan, aka Acetic Acid. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting than other sites that use HTML and CSS. In the long run, though, you'll find that the WikiSyntax is a lot easier and faster than those other ways. Here are a few links to get you started:

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Dear Pil56, I am an editor on the English Wikipedia, but occasionally I do edits on the Italian Wikipedia. Regarding your reverts, you have the idea that lower quality images to the ones I replace are reverted. I am getting tired of your edit reverts. Sometimes you revert some/most of my edits without any justification. I don't mind if you revert it if the previous image is HQ. Next time you complete a revert, could you please give me an edit summary. I can speak little Italian so I am fine --EurovisionNim (talk to me)(see my edits) 03:40, 14 November 2018 (UTC)

EurovisionNim, Pil is strict when it come to what pictures is used on the Italian Wikipedia and mostly dislike people replacing pictures with their own. Or as he said to me, "Your personal opinion, just because those pictures are "your". Which is why I leave him to do his own thing. --Vauxford (talk) 07:21, 14 November 2018 (UTC)

EurovisionNimVauxford: io non parlo così bene inglese, quindi non mi permetto di scrivere su wiki-en se non conosco le regole e non le so comprendere. Altrettanto entrambi voi non dovete sostituire le immagini con le "vostre" se non conoscete l'italiano, non conoscete le regole che ci sono per l'inserimento delle immagini negli infobox e non sapete cosa c'è scritto all'interno delle voci. Io ho visto i vostri inserimenti e non li ho annullati "tutti", solo quelli dove la sostituzione non era necessaria o era proprio errata.

Solitamente le vostre immagini sono di buona qualità ma dovreste imparare ad accontentarvi di inserirle su commons, lasciando che siano altri utenti (che conoscono la lingua e le regole "italiane") a utilizzarle correttamente nelle voci. Pil56 Which is why I respect that and been letting you do your own thing. I let you and other users on your main Wikipedia to decide what images to use. I tend to do edits on other Wikipedias to update them but only if they are usually neglected. --Vauxford (talk) 10:04, 14 November 2018 (UTC)
