This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Thierry Pallesco, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.simplyclassicalcds.com/cgi-bin/simply/PRCD1086.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Speedy deletion nomination of Thierry Pallesco

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Thierry Pallesco requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.simplyclassicalcds.com/cgi-bin/simply/PRCD1086.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -Fimatic (talk | contribs) 15:56, 13 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Notes

edit

You must not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you have created. Doing this can lead to you being blocked from editing. You also removed a copyright warning. You should not do this unless the copyright problem has been fixed, and it had not been. You cannot import copyright text into Wikipedia. Just rearranging a couple of words does not get rid of the problem. Text that is very close to an original that is copyright is also not suitable for use here. Please see WP:COPYVIO. Hello,

Here are the tags:

“A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view. Please discuss further on the talk page. (December 2014)”

- First, I'm not really an expert on internet either in Wikipedia (way too complicated for me to write!). It is because of this that I created all the First of a wrong page with Thierry pallesco with a small "p", and not capitalized. Not knowing that we could only change the name, I created another issue with Thierry Pallesco, although spelled with a capital "P", and have to delete the old subject with a small "p". There are not many articles talking about Thierry Pallesco on the web. Most (including publishers) took over the composer's own biography appearing on his own personal website. The Dutch website page on the CD release of K. Bowyer reflects in part the article on his biography (including the history of health problems with two of his children) that appears on a report of a French daily ("La Nouvelle République "). It is true that I have not mentioned that page (in French): http://www.lanouvellerepublique.fr/Vienne/Loisirs/24H/n/Contenus/Articles/2013/12/12/Organiste-et-compositeur-Thierry-Pallesco-monte-en-gamme-1722273

“This article may be an autobiography or has been extensively edited by the subject or an institution related to the subject. It may need editing to conform to Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. There may be relevant discussion on the talk page. (December 2014)” - See above, but I would point out that I am a simple French amateur organist who had the opportunity to meet Thierry Pallesco, at his organ loft in Poitiers, there a few years. Since then, I became very interested in his music. Having learned the release of Kevin Bowyer CD in England, the first CD devoted entirely to his works, I thought it would be good to create a topic name on Wikipedia in English, to enlighten the country on the French composer.

“This biographical article needs additional citations for verification. Please help by adding reliable sources. Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately, especially if potentially libelous or harmful. (December 2014)” - I think I did everything I could do. Sorry. “This article may rely excessively on sources too closely associated with the subject, preventing the article from being verifiable and neutral. Please help improve it by replacing them with more appropriate citations to reliable, independent, third-party sources. (December 2014) » - See above.

“This article includes a list of references, related reading or external links, but its sources remain unclear because it lacks inline citations. Please improve this article by introducing more precise citations. (December 2014)” - Should I add the link to the French daily? “A tag has been placed on Thierry Pallesco requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.simplyclassicalcds.com/cgi-bin/simply/PRCD1086.html.” - I fixed it with my words. I thought include the titles of the works of a CD was in the public domain. Idem for the short biography that you found in the webpages of the publishers, CD stores, they are all copied from the website of T. Pallesco. But one more time, I rewrote with my own words.

Hi. The request edit tag is for someone with a close connection to the subject to request another editor to make changes that they have already written. The other editor will just review those changes and make them if they meet guidelines. I've removed your tags as they were causing this page to appear on a list of requested edits.
