I am blocked for helping emprove wikipedia, adding pictures to the articles? The articles in other languages use fan-arts. I have to ask permission before adding pictures to articles?? And why I have to ask permission to GimliDotNet? Is he the moderator of Wikipedia??

And there is consensus at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Middle-earth that fan art should not be used for Middle-earth articles. Let me also point out that it was not GimliDotNet alone who reverted you but Intothatdarkness was also against adding the image. Palmyra

I dont think I would vandalize Palmyra considering that I wrote it ! you added a pic that is out of place, unnecessary and ruined the style of the article . This article is nominated for a GA and I dont understand why did you add this pic even though we already have two pics of that temple in the article.. When people undo you then its possible that you are the one who vandalized ! you cant call anyone who undo you a vandal ! why would you add a sketch of the temple in a section that deal with the Byzantine era ? did you even read the section before adding this pic ? We dont fill articles with pics just for the sake of it ! they need to serve a purpose and your edit served no such a thing

You even accused User:Cplakidas of vandalism ! this guy contributions enriched Wikipedia's articles about the history of the eastern Mediterranean like no other user ! yet here you are accusing him of vandalism even though a small review of your contributions clearly show that many of your edits are unwelcome !!--Attar-Aram syria (talk) 20:43, 21 February 2015 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Roman army. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period.
