Overlinking edit

Welcome. Please read WP:OVERLINK – don't link every occurrence of HTML in an article, for example. Thanks, Wbm1058 (talk) 16:05, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

June 2013 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at HTML element. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Andy Dingley (talk) 17:24, 3 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

You may respond at WP:AN3#User:PhunderMerwe reported by User:Andy Dingley (Result: ) if you wish. If you continue to make controversial changes at HTML element without waiting for consensus on the talk page you may be blocked. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 21:51, 4 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Do not rename the entity %inline; from the HTML DTD[1] to %in-line;. Whatever your stylistic preferences for English language words, this is neither English, nor available for change - it is part of the HTML standard itself. Do not change this, it is simply incorrect to do so. Andy Dingley (talk) 00:58, 5 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
