BTW: I've noticed that you make a lot of edits to Swinburne University of Technology and in another discussion you refered to 'we'. Please note that if you are closely related to a subject or editing as a group, or on behalf of a group, you must read WP:COI. Thanks. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 04:53, 1 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have also noticed that a previous editor was blocked for COI at User talk:SwinburneUniversity. A technical investigation will determine whether or not you are that same user. If it proves positive, your account IP may be permanently blocked from editing the encyclopedia for conflict of interest. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 05:07, 1 July 2012 (UTC).Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for advertising or self-promoting in violation of the conflict of interest and notability guidelines. See: your LinkedIn entry Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I did a fact and text edit to respond to the request to improve it and make it more neutral

Decline reason:

If this is your idea of making the article more neutral, that indicates your conflict of interest is severely hampering your ability to objectively look at the article. Given that, you shouldn't directly edit the article at all, but rather follow the guidelines at the above-linked page. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 05:19, 2 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You are the advertising and marketing executive of this university, which clearly suggests that you are editing on behalf of a group or organisation, and that you may not adhere to our strict rules of neutrality. Hence you and/or your colleague should not be editing the article. Please see User talk:SwinburneUniversity, Talk:Swinburne University of Technology, and WP:COI (again). Updating facts and figure etc edit

I really don't understand how anyone but someone from the university can/could/would update facts and figures when they become available? These published facts/figures are by definition neutral by being publicly available information. Do all employees would have COI or just me because of my job title - and the edits I've done not taken on merit? Trying to understand how we can keep the article up-to-date, neutral and accurate to respond and reverse the alert as posted. PeterABrown (talk) 02:56, 2 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
