Thank you edit

Thank you for your note on my talk page. Actually, the field of women is so broad that I decided to narrow my focus to "blue linking" the women listed on women's hall of fame pages for the various states. I started with the Maine Women's Hall of Fame, which was short, and now I'm working my way through the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame. But if you have an article in mind, I'd be happy to see how I can help. Best, Yoninah (talk) 09:12, 21 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

November 2018 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself, at Jill S. Tietjen. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. 2600:8800:1880:188:5604:A6FF:FE38:4B26 (talk) 18:06, 22 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

I really wish you had reviewed the Wikipedia entry more completely before using this tone and threatening me. I did not write it. The only changes that I made were changes of fact.PearlMerle (talk) 16:11, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Edits marked as "minor" edit

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. 2600:8800:1880:188:5604:A6FF:FE38:4B26 (talk) 22:46, 22 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

I now understand minor edits and will be happy to comply with the guidelines.PearlMerle (talk) 16:12, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for November 24 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Female Academy Award winners and nominees for non-gendered categories, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Ran, Strong Island and James Hilton (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Infobox images edit

Hi, thank you for your work on here. Please be aware though of WP:IBI when adding images to infoboxes on articles. Thank you. -Kj cheetham (talk) 18:02, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

I read the link and I don't understand what your concern is. What do you want me to do differently with the images? I have 57 more to upload and would like to do them properly. PearlMerle (talk) 18:05, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
You just need to add the image filename and caption as an infobox parameter, not by inserting it like a regular image. For example https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Evie_Dennis&oldid=1165722015 is one you did, which was then corrected by someone else to https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Evie_Dennis&direction=next&oldid=1165722015 -Kj cheetham (talk) 18:52, 18 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Colorado Women's Hall of Fame additions edit

Hi! I made pages for Olibama Lopez Tushar and Velveta Golightly-Howell if you have images for them.

JaneClawsten (talk) 15:52, 27 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Great. I think I have one of the images and I have asked for the other. Thank you. I am also getting appropriate permissions and that is why Lupe Briseno's photo was deleted. It will go back up. PearlMerle (talk) 16:02, 27 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
