Thanks! or offering your Flickr photos for use here edit

I saw your message so am replying here. I'll certainly be taking a look, as time (& energy!) permit. I'm an old guy. Sadly, my energy levels aren't what they used to be. But perhaps other Wiki photo editors/contributors will see this & be intrigued.

You said: "I'm not terribly familiar with the intricacies of licensing, but you are welcome to transfer whatever you see fit. I think the license that I'm using on my photos is basically "public domain."

OK: Yes, you use the same license I do: CC-A-SA, which qualifies as a "Free License" in Wiki-speak. So, yes, we can use them. And thanks for posting as Creative Commons!

Cheers -- Pete Tillman (talk) 21:32, 11 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

PS: If I use any substantial number of your photos (or others do), I'll likely assign you a Commons category. Here's mine: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Files_uploaded_by_PDTillman
OMG, up to 4300 or so! I could never manage that now. I'll be 77 this summer. I've already outlived my Dad by 2 or 3 years! --Pete Tillman (talk) 21:37, 11 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
