Wiki Syntax
editHello. If you can, please use proper wiki syntax when making tennis edits:
Thanks, Kleyw (talk) 02:04, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
- Another warning for you. Close your bold tags. Adamtt9 (talk) 11:01, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
There is no point of closing the bold tags so I'm not doing that, deal with it
OK I'LL CLOSE THE BOLD TAGS, BRO WHATS UR PROBLEM?
There is no problem. It is Wikipedia policy to close the tags. We have been warning other editors as well, not just you. Adamtt9 (talk) 11:15, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
AHHH sorry bout that, is it possible to just fix this cos i see heaps of tennis articles without closing the bold tags?
That is what we are trying to do right now. The first step is to make sure that editors know that keeping tags open is wrong and then we can go back and fix the problem. But the most important step is preventing this in the future. Adamtt9 (talk) 11:18, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
Davis Cup Home Soil
editHi, this is the second time that you change in ATP World Tour page on April the draw of Belgium v Italy. It's obvious like any other tournament that, the first parameter is draw order. Please do not change that.
Thanks, Kleyw (talk) 04:13, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
Paolo Lorenzi
editLorenzi didn't win yet, but you said that he won 6–2. He actually won 6–4. Even if it is 40 love and you are sure that the player is about to win, you never know what will happen. Don't put results before the match finishes. Entering the score isn't a race. When the match is done, you put it in. Adamtt9 (talk) 15:03, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
Closed tags
editI am warning you for the last time. Do NOT remove closed tags. These are required, and removal of them constitutes vandalism. You have been warned before, so don't do it again. Adamtt9 (talk) 11:08, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
Scores
editDon't save tennis scores early next time. Nishikori has not won yet. You never know what can happen, even at 40-0, so wait until the match ends before updating the score. Thanks. Adamtt9 (talk) 12:07, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
whats up my man ?
Look at the scores. You saved early, but Schwartzman has broken to make it 4-5. So your save is incorrect. Nishikori didn't win yet. Adamtt9 (talk) 12:10, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
yeh na, i agree. Won't do it again just got a bit cockey
I speak out of experience honestly. I have done it before when a player was leading 40-0 but then lost, and then I never did it again. Adamtt9 (talk) 12:25, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
