PHPA edit

Are you a representative of the PHPA? ccwaters 18:00, 22 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome. A couple things:
1) You should read WP:COI and WP:UP.
2} That wasn't me that complained about the mission statement: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Ice_Hockey#PHPA.
3) I'd consider a different license for the logo currently you are allowing anyone to do anything they want with it. That's great and encouraged for photo to share, but its probably not in the best interest of companies to do so with their trademarked identities. Ditto for any text: you are releasing that wiht a GFDL license.

Image copyright problem with File:PHPA PRIMARY.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:PHPA PRIMARY.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Your userpage is in a category edit

Your userpage User:PHPA has a category, and so appears in Category:Organizations established in 1967.
As the guideline on userpages describes, this is undesired. It is suggested that you edit the userpage to prevent this showing. It can be done by adding a semicolon (:) before the word Category, like this: [[:Category:Organizations established in 1967]]. The same for other Categories on your page too. -DePiep (talk)
