I have a question: Do some articles stay permanently in the stub category? For example, if the article is short and has a content which is interesting but the content is already presented in a concise and precise manner. Do these articles move eventually from the stub category to another category or do they stay permanently in the stub category? Orestesg2 (talk) 15:01, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

It depends greatly on the article and the subject. The stub tag says "Expand me", and the tag itself creates a list of similarly-themed articles that might be expanded. If I am a fan of Greek football, for example, I might look into working on articles in Category:Greek football biography stubs. Once the article has been expanded, it no longer needs the stub tag, and that can be removed. But it's entirely a judgement call - having the tag in place draws more eyes to the article, and may help with that expansion. UltraExactZZ ^Said ~ Did 15:20, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
