May 2019 edit

Hello, I'm Cordless Larry. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of British Indians, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Hello, I'm Cordless Larry. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional.   Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at User talk:Cordless Larry, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 18:45, 11 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Ankur Shiv Bhandari edit

Hi Ons99,

About your addition to List of politicians of Indian descent: if you look at the very first line of the article, you'll see that it's a list of Wikipedia articles, not just a list of people. So Bhandari could be listed there, but only after an article for him is created. I see that another user has already started a draft article about him, here. (Though it is currently in pretty poor state, and does not seem to provide evidence that it passes the relevant notability guidelines, which are WP:NPOL (for politicians) and WP:GNG (for articles on any topic).)
