Future fight events edit

I noticed that you have been adding future fights to MMA record boxes. Please see the discussion at WT:MMA#WP:CRYSTAL and fight records that this is against consensus. Thanks for your help on the project!--2008Olympianchitchat 01:40, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:TmvOctahedron.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:TmvOctahedron.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. — neuro(talk)(review) 18:49, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

May 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to The Ultimate Fighter: United States vs. United Kingdom Finale, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. If you find a verfiable report that a match has changed, please cite your source for that change. TreyGeek (talk) 15:25, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dude I used the same source, only it's been updated. Take a look at the same source...

"UPDATE: MMAmania.com has been informed by TJ Grant’s camp that Martin Kampmann has opted not to sign the bout agreement, effectively canceling the proposed contest.

Grant however, is still slated to appear at the TUF 9 finale on June 20."

Hope that helps. Omar Rodriguez (talk) 15:35, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

You should probably mention stuff like that in the edit summary to avoid confusion. Cheers, --aktsu (t / c) 17:39, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
I would agree. If you had put an edit summary of something to the effect of "Source article has been updated" I would have looked at the source before deciding whether to revert the edit or not. Edit summaries are a good thing and take very little time to use. --TreyGeek (talk) 18:43, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
