Copyright status of Military institute of science and technology edit

Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Military institute of science and technology. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites (http://www.mist-bd.org/about.htm in this case) or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Military institute of science and technology with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on the article Talk page. Alternatively, you may create a note on your web page releasing the work under the GFDL and then leave a note at Talk:Military institute of science and technology with a link to the details.

Otherwise, you are encouraged to rewrite this article in your own words to avoid any copyright infringement. After you do so, you should place a {{hangon}} tag on the article page and leave a note at Talk:Military institute of science and technology saying you have done so. An administrator will review the new content before taking action.

It is also important that all Wikipedia articles have an encyclopedic tone and follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. License tagging for Image:MIST.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:MIST.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 07:08, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

July 2007 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Military institute of science and technology. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Tiptoety 15:51, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add commercial material to Wikipedia, as you did to Military institute of science and technology. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. S up? 01:03, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Don't do this edit

Don't remove editorial concerns stubbornly. This shows extremely bad attitude and compete disregard for the encyclopedia you are working on. Aditya(talkcontribs) 14:38, 9 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

No disregard edit

Re edit

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Aditya that a large part of the article sounded like an advertisement brochure for the organization. I tried to clean up some parts of the article. Please look at other university pages and format this article in a similar manner. Thank you. --Ragib (talk) 00:24, 10 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

File:Rohu.jpg missing description details edit

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:Rohu.jpg is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors to make better use of the image, and it will be more informative for readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

Proposed deletion of File:Rohu 2.jpg edit

The file File:Rohu 2.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 27 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
