AN/I report edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.-- Kim van der Linde at venus 22:21, 7 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

OW, I have left a question for you at that thread regarding your accounts.   Will Beback  talk  07:49, 8 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Question edit

Could you please clarify whether or not you have a conflict of interest as in described in this policy WP:Conflict of Interest? Thank you. -- Kim van der Linde at venus 16:41, 9 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I answered that question with this edit to the talk page [1]. See sub-heading titled "ObjectivelyWise is biased and pushing an agenda." ObjectivelyWise (talk) 17:05, 9 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
Well, thank you for clarifying that you are not involved with the FRC and do not have a Conflict of interest because of that. -- Kim van der Linde at venus 17:08, 9 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Email? edit

Could I ask you to (at least temporarily) set/confirm an email address and "Enable e-mail from other users" in special:Preferences? Alternatively, could you send an email to me ? Thanks, –xenotalk 16:57, 9 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Respectfully, I'm going to decline that request. I have no desire to become more involved with Wikipedia than I am already and I do not wish to receive email from Wikipedia editors. I hope you don't take offense; that's just more involvement than I'm seeking. ObjectivelyWise (talk) 17:03, 9 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
No offense is taken - I understand if you don't want to receive email from other editors - could you instead send me an email ? I am a Wikipedia administrator and member of the Arbitration Committee; your email address will be kept in the strictest of confidence. –xenotalk 17:37, 9 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
May I ask why? ObjectivelyWise (talk) 22:13, 9 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
We're from the Arbitration Committee, and for privacy reasons we can't discuss the request on-wiki unless you give us permission to do so. The Cavalry (Message me) 15:10, 11 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
What business do I have with the Arbitration Committee? I'm trying to be obstinate, I just don't know what you're talking about. ObjectivelyWise (talk) 18:09, 11 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
There's been questions raised about your account, and without going into further details, we'd appreciate it if you contacted one of us to discuss it privately. You can use a throwaway email address if you're concerned about your privacy, by all means. The Cavalry (Message me) 00:56, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
