Stop. we have strict rules for the creation of single pages. This means that if the song is not released as a single, doesn't recieve extensive coverage or awards it cannot have its own page. See the rules at WP:NSONGS, WP:Crystal (Lil-unique1 (talk) 18:57, 13 November 2009 (UTC))Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Chicken Airport (Obiwan500)

edit

A tag has been placed on Chicken Airport (Obiwan500) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Removing Speedy at Chicken Airport (Obiwan500)

edit

Hi there Obiwan500! I saw that you added a {{hangon}} tag to a page which you created, Chicken Airport (Obiwan500). This is good, but in the process you removed the tag requesting deletion under CSD A9. Even though there is a hangon on the page, the deletion template should remain there. But don't worry, this doesn't mean that the page is going to get deleted. Make sure you edit the talk page of the page nominated for deletion, located at Talk:Chicken Airport (Obiwan500), administrators will look at your reason why the page should remain before they decide what to do. Thanks - SDPatrolBot (talk) 11:03, 14 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Twitter

edit

Twitter is NOT a reliable source for new singles BECAUSE it is difficult to verify that the twitter officially belongs to the artist. Furthermore sometimes record labels push ahead and release a different song as to what the artist has told fans. Alexandra told Radio1.gr that she would be releasing "Good Night Good Morning" but on twitter it says different. Until there are at least 3 different INDEPENDENT sources please do not add again. you have already been warned about this before. Next time you could be banned from editing. File source problem with File:Alex+burke+Broken+Heels.jpeg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Alex+burke+Broken+Heels.jpeg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:04, 13 December 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 03:04, 13 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
