Thanks for uploading File:JohnCedarAutographPic.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:36, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

My apologies.

Dear NowIsntItTime,
I know you're up to your ears at the moment but, given the amount of work being done to prepare Roar for FA, I feel compelled to offer my apologies for not doing a better job on it during my earlier copyedit. Since it was already a GA article, I aimed to polish what was there rather than perform more extensive surgery. As I admire the work being done by the FA reviewers, my takeaway is that I should be much bolder next time and, until then, familiarise myself with the FA-level of prose writing. In any case, please know I remain positive about the whole experience; thanks again.
As I watch the article being transformed, I am very pleased for you and wish you success with the current push.
With kind regards; Patrick. ツ Pdebee.(talk)(become old-fashioned!) 15:51, 14 March 2020 (UTC)

Hey Patrick! Glad to talk to you again.
Don't feel bad at all, man. You still did an excellent job! I have no complaints on my end, and I'm sure once the sentences are made sense of, then it won't be too long before it gets the golden barnstar. Also, most of the gripes from one user was confusion about events and how they needed to be better explained in the prose, which is more like adding information rather than fixing the wording. -NowIsntItTime(chats)(doings) 16:49, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
Well, thank you for your reply and kind words; they make me feel a bit better!

No problem Patrick! If you want to continue helping me you could make some comments in the archive (though I don't know if you review/patrol FA candidates), or if the article fails its first round I can get you to do more "extensive surgery", as you call it. -NowIsntItTime(chats)(doings) 22:36, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
Thank you for renewing the invitation, though I have never participated in a FA review. I do feel strongly, however, that you are in the best possible hands at the moment, and would encourage you to persevere with the opportunity for improvement offered by the current review. I’ll keep an eye on your progress and continue to wish you the very best of luck. With kind regards; Patrick. ツ Pdebee.(talk)(become old-fashioned!) 22:58, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
Thanks  , will keep in contact with you then. -NowIsntItTime(chats)(doings) 23:06, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:58, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
