Speedy deletion of FicWad.com

edit

A tag has been placed on FicWad.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I've noted the "hangon" tag you applied to the above-noted article, and the note you left on its associated talk page. Your statement that "This page all comes from a realiable source, which is the actual website being spoken about. That was the only source used just with explination of usage." is precisely the problem. No one apparently disbelieves any of the statements made; however, there are no reliable sources (click the link for an explanation) that back up any of those statements, and thus none of the information is verifiable and there is nothing to assert notability. Since these are all vitally important concepts for Wikipedia articles, I've decided to agree with the editor who tagged the article for deletion. However, there is nothing stopping you from adding the appropriate references and sources and remounting the article. If you want the deleted content restored to what we call a "sandbox" page where you can work on it, I'd be happy to do that; just leave me a note. As I've also said on my own talk page, I've created the sandbox page for you with the deleted material at User:Nosuchthingasasmallchange/Sandbox. You should have about a month to add references, etc., to the article to bring it up to standards. You might want to have a look at WP:Your first article, which will give you some hints about how to move forward and meet Wikipedia's requirements. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Archbishop Alter High School has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): googlepages\.com (links: http://altermusic.tandltucker.com-a.googlepages.com/altermusic).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page.
