Cockettes, Angels, & Kaliflower

edit

Hi there, I wanted to let you know that I've changed three sentences in the Kaliflower Commune article, & talk about why.

1) The Angels of Light were a free theatre troupe, performing free shows, in accordance with the communal ideal; the Cockettes were & are a commercial & capitalist group & deliberately disassociated themselves from the ideals of the commune. The Angels were the group with a majority of Sutter/Scott commune members. Angels shows, being free, were supported by the commune & advertised in Kaliflower; Cockettes shows were not. The Cockettes wanted nothing to do with the Friends of Perfection.

2) The Sutter/Scott commune did not disband in 1973; they moved to a different address, where they continued to publish KF.

3) Irving Rosenthal is not the sole author of the article you quote. All KF articles are published anonymously, after a complex group editorial process; therefore one would have to consider the commune, or KF itself, or "Anonymous" to be the author.

I'm happy to discuss any of this with you.
