  • you can be non-Greek and live in a Greek village. and you can be non-Albanian and live in an Albanian village.
  • if you mean all the Greeks should get out of Albanian territories then you must mean all Albanians should get out of Greek territories too. that would be welcomed by Greeks, believe me. there are many many more Albanian immigrants in Greece than Greek natives in Albania.
  • if you mean that only Greeks should leave that's pretty much ethnic cleansing and it's an act of war.
  • if you mean the Albanian State should include all territories that Albanians live in then the Albanian state must include USA, Italy, etc.
  • If you mean Albania deserves to have in its territory the places in south Epirus where there are Albanians then that also means that Greece should have North Epirus because there are Greeks there. and that is also an act of war.
  • if you think that Greece oppresses and kills Albanians then you should inform humanitarian organizations.
  • if those organizations think you are lying and you still insist that parts of Greece belong to Albania you can make demonstrations in the streets.
  • if you think that Greece is fascist and stole lands from Albania and that you would make these lands better, then gather your friends and your AK-47s and declare war against Greece. we will welcome you in the other side. but after that don't complain if we make it till Tirana. That's pretty much how it is.

what i mean is you can be a brother, and you can be a propagandist who spreads hate. you choose.CuteHappyBrute (talk) 04:01, 2 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Submarine of the Albanian Navy.jpg} edit

Thank you for uploading Image:Submarine of the Albanian Navy.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. File:Qazim Dervishi.JPG edit

Could you please explain how you are the copyright holder of File:Qazim Dervishi.JPG? Did you take the photo, circa 1930, or did you buy its copyright from the initial photographer? AnyPerson (talk) 22:48, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not true. An image is considered copyrighted unless there is a specific release of copyright. Just because there is no copyright on the image you uncovered, does not mean it is not copyrighted. I'll be listing the image for deletion for a copyright violation unless you can provide some proof that it's not under copyright. AnyPerson (talk) 22:55, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Possibly unfree File:Qazim Dervishi.JPG edit

An image that you uploaded or altered, File:Qazim Dervishi.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the image description page. Proof from the photographer or from someone associated with the photographer's estate, or proof from the newspaper that they are the copyright holder, or know for a fact that it is not copyrighted. AnyPerson (talk) 23:00, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

It's probably best if you ask at Wikipedia talk:Copyrights. I think an email would work, but who's to say that the person sending the email is really the copyright holder? AnyPerson (talk) 23:08, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'd appreciate it if you could provide some sources. See WP:CS for how it's done. See, oh, this or this for how a decent bibliography looks in practice. - Biruitorul Talk 00:32, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sure you can. See for instance Romanian general election, 1946 -- almost no English sources, but a fine article nonetheless. - Biruitorul Talk 16:12, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of of Pjetër Marubi edit

A tag has been placed on Pjetër Marubi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

subject fail to meet the relevant notability guideline

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Tadija (talk) 17:30, 30 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:Immagine.PNG edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Immagine.PNG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Melesse (talk) 15:31, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Flamurtari Kit 1987-1988.PNG edit

Thanks for uploading File:Flamurtari Kit 1987-1988.PNG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:05, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Kastrioti Family Coat of Arms edit

Hello! I am in the process of creating a vector version of the Kastrioti Family coat of arms based on File:StemaeFamiljesKastrioti2.GIF that you have created. It was requested over at the Graphic Lab illustration workshop. I was wondering if you still had the source for where you got your information as to the appearance of the coat of arms? Is there a blazon provided anywhere? This would be extremely helpful in figuring out what the arms should look like and properly sourcing the image. If you could provide any information you have on the matter in the section of the workshop dedicated to this, it would be great! Thanks, MissMJ (talk) 06:14, 8 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Invite to the African Destubathon edit

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi. We're into the last five days of the Women in Red World Contest. There's a new bonus prize of $200 worth of books of your choice to win for creating the most new women biographies between 0:00 on the 26th and 23:59 on 30th November. If you've been contributing to the contest, thank you for your support, we've produced over 2000 articles. If you haven't contributed yet, we would appreciate you taking the time to add entries to our articles achievements list by the end of the month. Thank you, and if participating, good luck with the finale!
