Hi! I'm a new user, Needles-Kane 08:41, 10 December 2006 (UTC), but I frequently use Wikipedia as a guest. I have made several edits in the past, and I want to become a part of this project officially. I am in the process of reading the tutorials, help and etiquette articles, but I need help with something specific.Reply

I have modified an existing image on Wikipedia, which I would like to send to a user or upload to the article in question. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi, I saw your help request. I'm not sure about all of Wikipedia's guidelines for images and such, but to upload an image, simply make an image link such as... File:Needles-KanesImage and then click on it. If the image doesn't exist, it will let you upload it. If it does, it'll bring you to the image page. To send it to a user, the easiest way is to leave a message on that user's talk page with a link to the image. And finally, to add it to the article, you simply add an image link there. You might want to also include thumb (as I have on the Image:Needles-KanesImage), which will create a thumbnail of it on the article. If you need anything else, feel free to re-add the help request! - JNighthawk 11:51, 10 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
