Feedback on Kohl edits

edit

Dear Narge,

Thanks for the message. Your edits to the kohl entry were very reasonable. I added an additional couple of lines about the official FDA statement that was issued regarding this that I think is important to include.

I agree, the kohl, kajal, and sirma entries could be merged into one -- to the best of my knowledge, they do refer to the same thing. "kajal" and "sirma" (or "Surma") are terms used in the Indian Subcontinent while "kohl" or "al-kahl" are Arabic terms for the same thing (similar to the way "mendhi" and "henna" are two different names for the same thing -- the former is an Urdu/Hindi word while the latter is an Arabic workd).

Hi, I have merged the Sirma, and Kajal articles and also give them sub headings. If you do not agree then you can revert them back. I created the Sirma article and don't have an objection to it being merged into the Kohal article. --StreetScholar 12:47, 11 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
