Welcome!

Hello, Naomimyu, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as AFK Arena, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

Speedy deletion nomination of AFK Arena

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on AFK Arena, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. – DreamRimmer (talk) 18:39, 12 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Deb. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.

AFK Arena moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to AFK Arena. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources, it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Annh07 (talk) 17:24, 13 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Draft:AFK Arena, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Naomimyu, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Naomimyu|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Annh07 (talk) 17:25, 13 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Nakba, you may be blocked from editing. Skitash (talk) 15:31, 16 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Widr (talk) 15:44, 16 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

  • I have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • I would like to confirm I am not being directly or indirectly compensated for my edits, nor have have any close affiliation to the company.
  • In regard to the disruptive edit on the Nakba, I do want to refute this. The change I made was prompted by a direct quote from the provided source: "...possessed about 90% of Palestine’s privately-owned land; Sa'di 2007." To say it is poorly or unsourced is inaccurate, as the quote was indeed part of the existing citations. In fact, the Wikipedia article replicates this quote word for word, yet omits the one crucial word “privately-owned”, fundamentally changing the interpretation and understanding. I revised the article to mitigate any potential confusion.
  • I will follow all the Wikipedia guidelines for editing such topics in future.

Decline reason:

You were not blocked for a single edit; it appears you were attempting to game the system to obtain advanced permissions. The system exists for a reason. You say you have no "close affiliation" to the company- do you have any form of affiliation with the company or the marketing agency described in the draft? I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 15:00, 17 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
