Welcome to Wikipedia, Nachhaltiges landmanagement! Thank you for your contributions. I am Tashif and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!

Username edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen (Nachhaltiges landmanagement) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

  1. It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization.
  2. Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.

Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guidelines concerning editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. August 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; you are welcome to create a new account with a username that represents only you. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. • It is possible that you may still find yourself blocked from editing because of an autoblock on your IP address. Unfortunately the tool that would let me check for this is not working at the moment. I will try again later, but in any case the autoblock should expire automatically in 24 hours. • Just for miscellaneous reference, what is this tool? Please reply on my talk page, thank you. — Waterfox ~talk~ 16:24, 18 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have moved this to the bottom - new entries are usually added to the bottom of talk pages, and that is where people will look for them.
Your old account is still there, because accounts are never deleted, but you can ignore it - just log in with your new account name. Your contributions have been transferred to your new account - see Special:Contributions/Daniela2011.
To change your username on German Wikipedia, you will need to apply at de:Wikipedia:Benutzernamen ändern. When that has been done, see Wikipedia:Unified login or de:Hilfe:Single-User-Login for how to arrange a "unified login" for all the Wikimedia projects. JohnCD (talk) 16:28, 18 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
