This kind of overlinking is not helpful. The material in this case is referring to the "dot" that is – and only is – the "." character. It is not referring to "dot" in the senses of "everything ever referred to by that word", so linking to a disambiguation page for every known meaning of "dot" or "DOT" is not only unhelpful, but confusing and misleading to the reader. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ >ʌⱷ҅ᴥⱷʌ< 23:29, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
