Speedy deletion of Derek Pegues
editA tag has been placed on Derek Pegues, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Sorry about that, tagged in error. A vandal had created the talk page with a load of biblical text, and replaced the article with the same text. I incorrectly saw this as the vandal having created the article.
- I spotted the error immediately, and reverted myself (and the vandal) to the last good version by yourself, and blanked the junk from the talk page. Sorry for any confusion Mayalld (talk) 17:04, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Edit summaries
editHi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field - please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. 58 Greg Curtin of Kentucky
editHello, I noticed you labeled # 58 Greg Curtin of Kentucky a Long Snapper. Question, "SN" and "LS" both mean long snapper? I have no clue what SN was so that's why I had the ?? there. If he is another long snapper, there is already a long snapper section in that same column. Thanks, Rocketmaniac (talk) 11:16, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
2008 Southern Miss Golden Eagles football team
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article 2008 Southern Miss Golden Eagles football team, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of 2008 Southern Miss Golden Eagles football team. Gromlakh (talk) 18:57, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of 2008 Southern Miss Golden Eagles football team
editI have nominated 2008 Southern Miss Golden Eagles football team, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2008 Southern Miss Golden Eagles football team. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Gromlakh (talk) 04:29, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Removal of AfD template
editDo not remove templates from articles that have been nominated for deletion at AfD until the debate closes. Doing so is considered vandalism, and if you continue to do it you might end up getting blocked from further editing. If you wish to keep the article, state your opinions on the AfD page. editThank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently copied the contents of a page and pasted it into another with a different name. Specifically, you copied the contents of Paul Lacoste (football player) This is what we call a "cut and paste move", and it is very undesirable because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. The mechanism we use for renaming articles is to move it to a new name which both preserves the page's history and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself by this process, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves to request the move by another. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Pantera associated
editHello. I was just wordering if you could explain in the Pantera talk page how the following bands are associated with Pantera (according to the associated acts definition): Anthrax, Exhorder, Exodus, Halford, Megadeth, Necrophagia, Prong and Slayer. I know they were close to and worked with some of them but i don't think it's enough to put on the associated list. Joke (talk) 22:31, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:AutoZoneLibertyBowlLogo.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:AutoZoneLibertyBowlLogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 22:50, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
