Blocked edit

I've blocked this account indefinitely per the findings of Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Film Fan. Mark Arsten (talk) 22:17, 17 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

My understanding was that sockpuppets were only disallowed when the behavior is somehow problematic. So why am I blocked? I don't want to edit as Film Fan anymore and my edits are good. MyBambooHouse (talk) 00:25, 18 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Read WP:SOCK. Lots there that apply, I think this is the most relevant: "Circumventing policies or sanctions: Policies apply per person, not per account". Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 08:18, 18 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
