User Troutman is mistaken in his representation of the policies. Conflict of Interest [CoI] is a problem, but as described in the very article he cites, it is allowed with certain controls to mark out the potential for CoI. In your case, I think it would be fair enough to start the article with the briefest of bio and a list of publications and marked out for CoI and let others fill out the details. 78.33.185.122 (talk) 10:54, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
