The verb “to lead”
editHello Mtaradash. Thank you for your recent addition to our article about Galileo Galilei. I notice in a couple of places you have used “lead” as past tense of the verb “to lead”. In fact, the past tense of lead is “led”. (This contrasts with the verb “to read” because the past tense of “read” remains unchanged as “read”; it’s past tense isn’t “red”.) Happy editing. Your addition to Galileo Galilei
editI have removed your edit because its a synopsis of the topic inserted in the middle of the section covering the topic and it is mostly redundant: Aristotelian point of view, Kepler's supernova, Jupiter's moons (incorrectly described), science contradicting scripture, Tommaso Caccini, interactions with Pope Urban VIII are all covered elsewhere in the article. I note it is well written and well sourced, you just need to work on integrating material in context instead of creating stand alone paragraphs. Noaccountaccount (talk) 15:39, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
- I noticed that you re-added the same content that you added to the article previously, without trying to discuss the issue and figure out what the problem was. Keep in mind that you should never do this - if your edits are reverted, you need to understand what the problem was, discuss the issue on the talk page, and come to some sort of resolution before re-adding it.
- As User:Noaccountaccount said, you need to make sure that you aren't repeating information that's present elsewhere in the article - your additions should be integrate in what's there, and should fit in like it's all one article (which is what it's supposed to be).
