Hello Moderator,

I have made one change on this page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soldering) where I found one dead link in the 14th point of the References section. I have updated that with a relevant blog related to hand soldering from trusted sources but today I have found that it wasn't updated on the website yet. Can you please tell me what is the reason behind this? However, I have updated this again today. Waiting for your reply!

Regards, Betty Hunt

Hi, I'm Constant 314. The edit you made on soldering was reverted (twice). That is because blogs are not considered to be reliable sources. Constant314 (talk) 13:53, 5 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hi, I investigated further. I see that you just tried to fix the broken link, which highlighted the fact that it was a blog. That triggered two other editors to revert, which didn't actually change anything. Sorry that your first experiences were frustrating. I removed that particular source entirely as unreliable. Now watch it, somebody might revert me. Constant314 (talk) 14:09, 5 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
