Request reason:

I have just come to realise what "checkuser" is, why I haven't been able to edit pages, and how to request unblock. For starters, I do not know how or why somebody wanted to checkuser block me in the first instance. I am one man with one account and do not claim to any relation to any other account on here whatsoever. I do not have other accounts and therefore this block is unjustified. I request an unblock due to, (if we are to assume any good faith on the admin who felt it a bright idea to block me) an apparent error on a CheckUser reading. Yes, I have read up on it. It is based on technical evidence but is also not magic pixie dust as you call it, which is, if we are going to assume any good faith on the blocker at all, what is most likely what has happened here. Besides this block, I made myself a willing volunteer for WikiProject Iceland. I had created a small handful of pages in the short time leading to my block, including articles not related to Iceland, hoperfully demonstrating my ability to branch outside of my central focus. I have never recieved any complaints from anyone about my editing. Therefore, in my view, it would be in Wikipedia's best insterest to unblock me, so that I can continue where I left off, in particular, to possibly expand the Iceland stubs I recently created. I also request an apology from the blocker for my inconvenience. Thank you.--Mr ComeGo (talk) 21:12, 18 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Not having checkuser access myself, I can't view the evidence, so I am more or less forced to concur with two checkusers who have commented here. Beeblebrox (talk) 00:13, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Confirmed sock of AtlanticDeep (talk · contribs). I am not going to unblock, if that is what you are asking by putting this on hold. Probably asking another checkuser for their opinion would not be a bad idea. J.delanoygabsadds 23:46, 18 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I agree with J.delanoy. The evidence is very strong here. Dominic·t 00:03, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
But can evidence be strong but wrong?--Mr ComeGo (talk) 00:06, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Do you have anything to add besides trite questions and complaints? Maybe a reasonable explanation as to why you share multiple IP addresses with these other accounts? Dominic·t 00:24, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I cannot speak for the IP Adresses as I cannot control what my IP Adress is or what IP Adresses other people have, but as I say, I suspect a flaw in the reading as I don't know AtlanticDep and who are "these other accounts"? As for anything to add besides trite questions and complaints, what do you expect? I have likely been unjustly blocked by a bad checkuser reading and have recieved no unblock nor apology for all I've had to put up with. I am a member of Wikiproject Iceland, editing with this one account only, wanting to help contribute content on Wikipedia. Is that not enough? I have stated my case I cannot see your "evidence" but I am telling you that this is my one true account. I edited with one account, I am editing with one account now and intend to edit with one accont in future.--Mr ComeGo (talk) 00:36, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
