Non-free files in your user space

edit

Hey there MrBellic, thank you for your contributions. I am a bot, alerting you that non-free files are not allowed in user or talk space. I removed some files I found on User:MrBellic. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.

  • See a log of files removed today here.

Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 05:02, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

You can't include on your user page an image that is used on Wikipedia under the "fair use" rules. Such images may only be used to illustrate particular articles, and are not available for whatever purpose you choose to put them to. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:33, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

edit

Please do not add inappropriate images to Wikipedia, as you did to User:MrBellic; it is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Really, you may not use that image on your user page. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:33, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ownership

edit

Regarding this edit: you do not own any of the pages on Wikipedia, including your own user page. While it is generally considered rude, and perhaps even vandalism to modify another user's user page maliciously, it is not considered vandalism to remove inappropriate content from a user page, such as copyright violations. You may think you will get users banned for touching your user page, but if they are upholding Wikipedia policy, it is not likely. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:36, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on User talk:קפטן תחתונים. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 16:57, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
