additions to desertification
editHi, Morganaburke. I've made some changes to your draft. I'm assuming this is meant to be a new section in the desertification article? If so, I think you've nearly got it. I'd take a close look at what information you have in your section that is already covered on that article (including terms which may already be linked). If you plan to insert it after the Poverty section (which is where I would put it), read up through that section and then re-read your draft to see if anything can be removed.
