Hi, hoping you can help! I published several edits on this page, which went up, but then disappeared. I’m really hoping they can be reinstated.
I’m not clear on why my username was flagged, it doesn’t represent an organization or business, I am a Montessori researcher, parent, and advocate who lives in Virginia. I went ahead and requested a name change, which is fine, but I’m hoping my edits can come back so that I don’t have to redo that work. MontVA (talk) 15:21, 13 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi, thanks for replying and clarifying that your name doesn't reflect a business or organisation. Your edits are still there in the page history if you want to go back to them, but the reason I reverted your changes was because you added three paragraphs of unsourced information - there was no reference to a reliable source to verify that it was true. You also deleted a paragraph that was sourced. I'll post a Welcome message which has some links which should help with that. Best wishes, Tacyarg (talk) 16:09, 13 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Also, watch out for phrases such as "sought after speaker" - fine if you can give a reliable source to support it, but if not, it reads promotional and is likely to be deleted or flagged. Best wishes again. Tacyarg (talk) 16:12, 13 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Ok, got it. I have fixed these issues. This morning, however, I continue to have trouble. I went to update the bio section, and wrote three very neutral, well-cited paragraphs. When I went to publish, it asked me to do a captcha, which I did, and then it just continued to repeatedly ask me to do captcha after captcha, and it never accepted my edits, which I believe I now need to redo and re-cite. Can you help me understand what is going on? 199.111.224.156 (talk) 15:53, 16 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

However, as is explained above, your user name was not the reason for your edits being reverted. You made unsourced edits. Please reread your talk page. "All content must be cited from reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and have a reputation for fact checking." Best, --Deepfriedokra (talk) 16:32, 13 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi! I'm wondering about the paid creator warning at the top of the Angeline Stoll Lillard page. What would be the process by which that would go away? I know that that page was NOT created by someone paid to do so, and it makes the page look suspicious and untrustworthy to have that notice. Thanks for any help! Corey
