Welcome! edit

Hello, Monikamikulova, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Using figures edit

Hi. If you want to upload a figure from a paper, the figure needs to have been released under a Wikipedia-compatible license by the person who owns the copyright (either the author of the article or the journal publisher). Journals that are licensed under a compatible license (usually CC-by SA, CC-by, or CC-by Attribution) are clearly licensed.

You can create an image that reproduces the information in a diagram, but you can't reproduce the layout. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:05, 1 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
