A brownie for you! edit
Hi Kevin! I saw you created a guest profile at the Teahouse and I wanted to stop by and drop off this freshly made wiki-brownie. Looks like you've found some cool projects to drive into, what articles do you want to start editing? I look forward to seeing what you do here at Wikipedia. See you around! What is the Teahouse? edit

Hi Monareal. Let me try to explain... The Teahouse is a supportive and friendly community inside of Wikipedia where editors can meet people, get help, learn about editing, and have a good time while they try to understand Wikipedia better. There's nothing to join, really, you just show up, ask a question, introduce yourself, and read what others have written. Experienced hosts are there to guide you through whatever problems or concerns you have, as well as tell you more about how you can make the most of your editing here. I hope that answers your question. If you are still not sure, just respond beneath this message and I'll see it and get back to you. Cheers! Ocaasi t | c 10:38, 28 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Teahouse questions edit
  1. What is a host and what does he/she do?
A host is a helper. We're experienced Wikipedians who want to make the editing environment more friendly and accessible. We can show you around, answer questions, review edits you have made... whatever you need.
  2. Is the teahouse safe?
The teahouse is designed to be supportive. It's as safe as anywhere on Wikipedia, and probably safer, since it is mainly staffed by regular editors. If you encounter any hostile language or interactions at the Teahouse, or anywhere else on the site, just let one of the hosts know and they can help take care of it.
  3. Can we cummunicate with each other there?
You can indeed communicate with hosts and other Teahouse guests there!
  4. And this, is really personal! Are you a guest or host?
I'm a host. But I'm always learning about Wikipedia, so in a sense, I'm a guest too.

I hope that helps. Enjoy your editing! Ocaasi t | c 14:51, 29 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:08, 29 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Being nice to others edit

Hi, just so you know, your comments at User talk:20thtryer are unacceptable and have caused them some stress. I suggest you either alter your behaviour with regards to User:20thtryer or avoid contacting them until you have something useful to say to them. --Mrmatiko (talk) 15:38, 31 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sir, I tried just... to make peace there in a conversation a few hours ago. That 20th said he did'nt understand. This made me real angry. So that is why I just blurted out. You tell writ I would me quiting from teahouse. Thanks--Monareal (talk) 15:46, 31 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

You don't need to quit the Teahouse. Just avoid allowing your frustrations to spill over on to Wikipedia. If you feel angry then just step away from the keyboard for a while until you calm down. The best thing you can do is just avoid contact with User talk:20thtryer for the time being. I suggest that you apologise to them for your behaviour (unconditionally) and start doing some article editing. --Mrmatiko (talk) 15:54, 31 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

I had already quit before you sent this message . And I am in a middle of a project to provide infoboxes for space station modules and because of this , I have currently made more than 50 edits in wikipedia.--Monareal (talk) 05:29, 1 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Teahouse edit

I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience. One of the most challenging aspects of Wikipedia at times is remaining civil or even friendly with those you disagree with or those that frustrate or even attack you. It's always best to remain on good terms, even if others are behaving unkindly. Please remember that. We're all on the same team, contributing an amazing project. Stay friendly and stick around. Good luck! You're welcome back at the Teahouse any time as long as it continues to benefit you and doesn't hurt others. Ocaasi t | c 11:35, 1 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
