Please note that draft pages are not allowed to be filed in articlespace categories as if they were already finished articles. Categories may be added to the page only if and when it gets approved by an AFC reviewer and moved into mainspace, and the page is not allowed to be in categories while it's still in draft. This, further, is precisely why I keep linking to WP:DRAFTNOCAT in my edit summary when I remove the categories, so that you can see the rule which mandates that.

But since I've now had to remove categories from the draft three times, just a note to remind you that the page is not allowed to be filed in categories while it's still in draft. Bearcat (talk) 17:23, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
