- Want to know about the Article that I have edited recently was removed how to properly edit and contribute it in the topic of Yugas on Historical basis following was my edit regarding the topic :
- •In Ancient India a very famous mathematician and astronomer Aryabhatta who is famous and creditted for discovering “zero” in India, although the concept of yugas is much older then aryabhatta but he mentioned in his book “Aryabhattiya” that when he turned 23 years old at that point of time 3,600 years of kali age has been passed down; If we look towards the birth of aryabhatta he was born in (475 A.D/476 A.D) which implies that Aryabhattiya was written around 498 A.D and so Dwapara-Kali transition which is 1/10th part of Dwapra-Yuga started around 3,102 BCE and ended around 2,238 BCE but there is a misconception among historians that when krishna departed after that kali yuga started but this is not true, Kali yuga started after the declining phase of river Saraswati due to 4.2 kiloyear event which is Dwapara-kali transition period.
- •If we look out clearly so Aryabhatta was talking about the starting point of transition from Dwapara yuga to kali yuga (Dwapara-kali) by writing that 3,600 years has been passed since the start of kali age he created confusion to historians, If we subtract 864 years(dwapara-kali transition) from 3,102 BCE then we will get the date when Kali yuga actually started which is 2,238 BCE.
- •By taking these dates into consideration and making 3,102 BCE and 2238 BCE as base for our yuga cycle, yuga cycles or Kaal-chakra can be reconstructed which was probably common in knowledge among kings Sages and local people at that point of time.
- •These cycles works in the ratio of 4:3:2:1 where 4 is represented for Satya yuga or Krita yuga, 3 is represented for Treta yuga, 2 is represented for Dvapara yuga and 1 is represented for kali yuga and each yuga has its transition period of its 1/10TH part of the respective yuga, and they also represents declining Dharma or morals in human nature.
- •The total age of Chatura-yuga is 43,200 human years which was misinterpreted as 4.32 million years it caused a 100 fold increase in the time durations due to which all the distortions in a yuga cycles started.
- •Satya yuga covers 40 percent of yuga cycle contributes 17,280 years and 1/10TH part of Satya yuga is for transition period of this age which stands for 1,728 years(Comparable to the idea of Cognitive revolution).
- •Treta yuga consists of 30 percent of yuga cycle contributes 12,960 years and 1/10TH part of Treta-yuga is transition period of this age which stands for 1,296 years.(Younger Dryas).
- •Dwapara yuga consists of 20 percent of yuga cycle and it contributes 8,640 years and 1/10TH part of Dvapara yuga is transition period of this age which stands for 864 years.(4.2 Kiloyear event).
- •Kali yuga or dark age consists of 10 percent of yuga cycle and it contributes 4,320 years and 1/10TH of Kali-yuga is transition of this age 432 years.(Industrial Revolution).
- {NOTE: These cycles are time map constructed by sages in order to specify certain events which happened during the transitions like environmental change or man-made change of environment so that certain events like Ramayana, Mahabharata and other chronological order of puranic genealogy become easy to understand}
- •So which means that these ages are in the following order 15,552 years of golden age and then 1,728 years of transition called as “Satya–Treta” transition; 11,664 years of Treta age and then 1,296 years of transition called as “Treta-Dvapara” transition; 7,776 years of Dvapara age and then 864 years of transition called as “dvapara-kali” transition and last age is kali yuga of 3,888 years and 432 years of transition is called as “kali- satya” transition.
- Following that the time period Between 41,118 BCE-25,566 BCE is main phase of Satya Yuga and after that 1,728 years of transitional period i.e "Satya-Treta" transition which starts in 25,566 BCE-23,838 BCE, after this from 23,838 BCE-12,174 BCE is the main phase of Treta Yuga with it's transitional period of 1,296 years from 12,174 BCE-10,878 BCE, after this period is Dvapara Yuga from 10,878 BCE-3,102 BCE with it's transitional period of 864 years which starts in 3,102 BCE-2,238 BCE and the last cycle is of Kali-Yuga between 2,238 BCE-1650 A.D as main phase and from 1650 A.D to 2082 AD is 432 years transition after which cycle repeats.
- •2,238 BCE from present(2023) is 4,261 years and Kali Yuga is 4,320 years of cycle which makes the end of this cycle in 59 years from present around 2082 AD it also indicates that these cycles are very closely aligned with axial precession of Earth but they used a little higher precession i.e 25,920 Years.
