Biochar peer review

edit

1. The references provided where very useful and informative and highlights the main idea of writing an article on Wikipedia that we should always refer to as many articles possible and from reliable and trusted journals. I saw that the references were from trusted journals such as Bioenergy, Nature, New Scientist and ScienceDirect. The article from the Department of Agriculture and Food was very helpful and the article on the effect on soil organism helped me understand the impact of Biochar on living organisms. The reference provided for Biochar Sequestration review was of particular interest to me personally.

2. The inclusion of residence time and heating time specifically helps us in understanding the main parameters that Biochar yield depends upon. Can you tell us what recent developments are in progress other than pyrolytic developments that are being used for Biochar production? Can you also mention the properties and content of Biochar in detail and also provide a list of Biomasses that would give us the most Biochar and least amount of Biofuel and Biogas under optimal conditions?
