WFAJ

Hey Mlaffs, got a new station for ya in Virginia. WFAJ in Nassawadox, Virginia at 96.9 FM has a construction permit. I have added it to your list of pages that need made, but thought I would let you know about it personally, so you knew where it went and everything. - NeutralHomerTalk • 20:03, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Thanks - I've marked on the page that it's still a CP so I don't forget. Mlaffs (talk) 20:11, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
Okie Dokie :) When I see if come out of construction permit mode and get a license to cover, I will let you know. I get the daily FCC email, so I keep an eye on stations in my area. Take Care...NeutralHomerTalk • 20:20, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

A Question

I was hoping you might know, where should Ancestry information for a town's population go? I am thinking about a subsection under Demographics, but am unsure and the person I was working with has gone offline. - NeutralHomerTalk • 03:37, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

Not sure - don't think I've ever come across that problem before. Do you have an example of an article that you're thinking about? Mlaffs (talk) 03:38, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
Yup, Stephens City, Virginia. The information isn't on there about the Ancestry yet, but it is on this Census document page. - NeutralHomerTalk • 03:46, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
I get what you mean now. Well again, no experience with this sort of stuff but, yeah, I'd agree - seems like it would fit as a second paragraph in the Demographics section, or even at the end of the first paragraph. I don't know that it needs to be broken out as its own sub-section though. Mlaffs (talk) 03:57, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
Okie Dokie...just wanted to make sure it was supposed to go into the Demographics. Stephens City, Virginia is my big project right now, so I am putting all my time and effort into it. Problem is, I have little experience in writing about a town, editing and the like. My experience is in radio station articles. :) So this is my big challenge. I am getting help from all areas, including you tonight. Thanks! Take Care...NeutralHomerTalk • 04:02, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
If you have a moment, could you take a look at this section and look at the last paragraph (the new ancestry section) and see how it reads to you. Would you change anything? Does it look OK, read OK? - NeutralHomerTalk • 04:53, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
Looks good. Only thing I saw was that you misspelled "descent" in the first line. Mlaffs (talk) 04:58, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
Are you sure? I got it from Webster. :S - NeutralHomerTalk • 05:00, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
Yeah - you were missing the 's'. Mlaffs (talk) 05:18, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
OK, corrected. :) I should really not edit when tired. :) Thanks! - NeutralHomerTalk • 05:22, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
